Job Summary:
Our client, a product development company providing IT services, is looking for a Mid to Senior Python Developer to join their team and complete data-driven web development work. This position is 100% remote, and the client is headquartered in Dallas.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in data-related projects to develop scalable and efficient solutions using Python frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders and other team members to understand requirements and create high-quality, efficient code that meets their needs.
- Test code to ensure it is error-free performs as expected, and troubleshoots any issues.
- Provide support and maintenance for existing applications.
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer using Python
- Hands-on experience with Python’s Data Library for data manipulation and analysis. (Pandas, Polars, and/or Glue)
- Experienced in JSON (pulling complex JSON apart, parsing it, and flattening it)
- AWS S3
- Experience with Athena
- Strong understanding of MongoDB
- A general understanding of analytics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. We are open to boot camp graduates with 3+ years of professional Python experience.
- Experience with other programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
